Description
Showtime Senior (ages 13-16) students learn theatre basics with instructor Vanessa Nezamloo. Learn what it means to be an actor: get a part, learn lines, develop characters, rehearse scenes, and stage two shows a year. Build community and friendships with other young actors, learn what it means to be a theatre artist, and improve your acting skills. No audition required, all skill levels are welcome!
This course is also offered for ages 10-12 in our Showtime Junior section. We have a variety of adult and youth musical theatre and drama opportunities available for ages 5+. See our Musical Theatre and Drama section of our website for more information.
Note about UR Community: If you do not already have an account our Student & Instructor Services Non-Credit Office will create an account for you or your child and log-in information will be e-mailed prior to the course starting. All weekly course information from instructors should be posted and communicated in this online classroom. While this is not a hybrid program, if participants are ill or out of town, you could join this class via Zoom. Classrooms in UR Community will have a link to a Zoom classroom.
